Yųgiwi ("Leader-Woman")

Yųgiwi is the daughter of Great Black Hawk, the chief of the spirit tribe that wields the thunder. She lives in the Thunderbird spirit village that lies in the western sky. Yųgiwi owns a blanket of bright shades of red which she loans to Sun when his setting reddens the horizon.¹
